Police Holds A Portuguese For Marring Juvenile

Police is greatly concerned with the fast ever-growing crime rate in Mpigi district during this time of lock-down.

Addressing journalists at the media center in Kampala, the police publicists, Fred Enanga confirms that they have register hundreds of cases from Mpigi of different nature with the recent being, the defilement of a 13-year-old girl by her cousin, one, Nsubuga Remejo of Buturo – Ntenjeru village who is being hunted by police in the area.

However, police in Kira is holding a Portuguese national, Carlos Alberto, for defiling a 16-year-old girl who was officially married off by her parents who are also under arrest.

“In agreement with the parents of the girls, Carlos gave them a three-bedroom house in Najjera in exchange for their daughter”. Says Police.
