The deputy speaker thanked the MPs for openly talking about issues of mental health and asked them to take the gospel to their constituencies.

She also called for a mechanism to offer counseling services to children before they go back to school because of the stress they have gone through during the pandemic and the trauma and stigma caused by the cases of Covid -19 registered in schools.

She applied to communities to embrace the idea of being one another’s keeper so that our neighbors facing the weight of the pandemic can receive help since most of the mental health cases need counseling and psychosocial support.
