The Archbishop of the church of Uganda Dr Samuel Steven Kazimba Mugalu  has condemned the gruesome re-arrest of members of parliament Muhammad Seggrinya of Kawempe North and Allan Ssewanyana of Makindye West and urged security agencies to respect human rights while enforcing the law.

The Arch Bishop of Kazimba was receiving 30 million shillings contribution from the deputy speaker of parliament Anita Among towards clearing the 60bn shillings debt for the Church House building located along Kampala road that is at risk of being auctioned.

He condemned high handedness of security agencies while arresting members of parliament and lmplored police to follow the recent presidential guidance on human rights

The Deputy speaker Anita Among committed to contribute more to the project.

He has called on members of parliament to to contribute to the campaign to save Church house, the project tailored to generate funds to support church projects like schools.

In July Archbishop Kaziimba Mugalu  launched the “Yes, We Can!” fundraising campaign to save the Church House with christian Shs 60,000  to clear the construction loans on Church House.
