Lyomoki to Compete Against -President Museveni

By our reporter

The outspoken NRM workers MP Dr. Sam Lyomoki has criticized the road map for 2021 which was released by (NRM) party last week claiming its agenda is to smuggle president Musesveni as a sole candidate for NRM’s flagship in the 2021 presidential elections.

He vowed to compete with president Museveni for the party ticket and promised to Appoint Bobi wine his vice president if he wins.

Last week the NRM secretariat unveiled its political road map for 2021 general elections in the bid to retain power.

However worker MP who is an NRM member Sam Lyomoki is not happywith the road mp,noting that it does not capture when the  party primaries for the flag bearer  on the position of the president will take place which indicates that president Yoweri Museveni is being shielded from internal competition to retain the party ticket. Lyomoki has now written to the NRM secretary general seeking explanation why Museveni is being protected.

Lyomoki noted that he is so prepared to take on president Museveni in the contest for (NRM) flag come 2021 to end his cling on power .

He says that he has majority of supporter within the party from especially the youth and he is sure of a landslide victory .

But he expressed his disappointment with government for failure to guard democracy NRM fought for  within the party .

the perennial workers mp vowed to drag his party to court if they don’t organize party primaries. He however threatened to run for presidency on an independent ticket if he is not offered an opportunity to compete with Museveni in party primaries. He was also supported by the fellow NRM MP for Malacha east county James Acidri.
